This library is separate from your notebook
These guides are public editorial pages from Nootrack. They do not display an account, load a personal result or need access to notebook records. Opening the notebook takes you to the separate Nootrack application.
The choices described here apply to the notebook. They are not a substitute for the current data use notice or the public reading site’s own advertising and privacy information. Read those notices when deciding what to enable or share.
Choose where new records go
Local tracking keeps the health notebook on the device without a cloud processing choice. An account may still hold account and membership information. Do not assume that creating an account means every old local entry was uploaded or moved to that account.
Private sync stores permitted notebook records on the server for your private notebook and personal comparisons, without contributing to population research. Research sharing adds eligible contribution to aggregate comparisons after the required account verification and permissions. Neither choice makes your raw health records into a public profile.
In Me, use Change beside your sharing status to review these modes. Routine synchronization and wearable connections also have their own permissions. A wearable import needs an actual authorized provider connection; changing a notebook mode alone does not create one.
Shared statistics are not raw shared records
Uploaded records are linked to a protected account. Calling that account linked storage anonymous would be misleading. The app releases eligible aggregate comparisons only after participant, comparability and privacy checks. Small or unsuitable groups remain unavailable.
Private compound and intake notes are not published as population results. Current note handling also does not include an automated research text analysis service. A reviewed public compound name in the catalog is separate from private notes and dose history.
Aggregate thresholds and rounding reduce disclosure risk; they do not promise mathematical anonymity. Likewise, a participant game rank does not establish a representative population norm. The scope and limitations of a release matter as much as the fact that it is aggregated.
Preview an image before sharing it
The Stand sharing control prepares an image on your device. Its permitted contents are game attributes and eligible rank reference information. It does not include your email, compounds, intake history, mood, sleep or private notes. Including the Stand nickname is an optional choice, off by default.
Preview the image and its nickname setting before saving or using the device share sheet. Once you send a file to another service or person, that copy is outside the notebook’s controls. An export of your notebook is a different artifact and can contain sensitive records; do not confuse it with a Stand image.
Store exports somewhere appropriate for their contents. Avoid posting a full export, account screenshot or private health history in a public support conversation. Send only the minimum detail needed to explain a technical problem.
Stopping uploads is not the same as deletion
Changing to private sync stops research contribution. Changing to local tracking stops new health uploads. Those changes do not automatically erase records already saved to the server, downloaded exports or local copies on another device.
Use the export and account deletion controls in Me → Account & privacy for those separate actions. Deleting server records cannot recall an image or result somebody else has already copied. Provider accounts, billing records and backups also have separate handling described in the current notice.
For wearable data, withdrawing notebook processing permission and disconnecting the provider are separate controls. If a change is made offline, check whether the app says the server action is still pending. A local choice is not a confirmation that a remote service has received it.
This guide describes the current Nootrack product and its documented limits. It does not report a clinical study, validate the tasks or recommend a treatment. For account choices, read the current notices in the notebook.
